Augustus, died unexpectedly at the Russ Hotel early today. He passed avvay in bed about 130 am. Coroner Dr. J. D. MacGuigan announced the man died of natural causes and that no inquest would be held. NEW LOW FOR MARCH After setting a new all-time low for March in this Province of 17 de- grees below zero. the weather mod- erated on Sunday until by 8.30 last night the reading was 22 above at the Charlottetown mperimental Station, Low Saturday night and early Sunday was nine below. At 8.30 Sunday morning it was six be- low. Apparently the cold was more severe in Charlottetown Saturday than in surrounding districts. At the airport it was 11 below. The pre- vious low for March in this Prov- ince, and the records go back to the start of the century. W8! 15 b9- low in March, 1923. There was no wind with Saturday morning's ex- treme cold. So rapidly did the blaze spread that Mr. Arbing with the assistance of neighbors, was only‘ able to remove two beds and a quantity oi clothing. Eight hun- dred bushels of potatoes were in the cellar at the time and it is believed many of them would be damaged.
