After rounding the first turn Ben Hal took the lead, Dash eecond, Parkwcoi third, Tansy fourth, Bessie Rampart fifth. They finisued in this order. Time, 2.223. The starters were Tansy, Parkwood, Jack, Ben Hal, Bessie Rampart. Ben Hal tcok the lead in the treat heat, aod held it. Dash was eecond till under the wire in first half when Parkwood by geod racivg took his place, Jeck broke in last half, coming in third, Taney fourth, Bessie Rampart fifth. Time 2.23. FREE-FOR-ALL, Arclight had the pole in this race, Lina Belle next and Warren Guy outside. Minnie and Parkland were drawn In the first heat Arclight led until the end of the first balf, wnen Lina Belle went ahead, winning about five lengtbs ahead of Arclight. Warren Guy behaved badly and came inthird, about a leagth behind Arclight. Time 2.20. The second heat was hotly contested, all the horees fighting hard for «irst place. Warren Guy finished first, Lina Belle and Arclight coming in neck and neck a few feet behind. Arclight was given second place. Time 2.22.
