The main en~ trance has been replaced by an entirely new structure having a porch ans two stairways. This will conduce very much to the warmth of the church. It is in. ground which will lead t» the basement. All of the exterior and interior of the church has been newly painted. The in- terior by Mr. Chas. Matheson, who has this time done work of the first quality, and the exterior by Mr. A. Howat'. The basement has been painted by Mr. Dan Howlett. The system of lighting has undergone a vast improvement. Three chandeliers have been suspended, the main one of which is said to be the handsomest in the pro- vince. Great credit is due to the chairman and Board of Trustees for the'r energy and as- eistance during the time of repair.
