SUMMERSIDE — Ulysses (Les) Cameron, well known business man of North Haney, B.C. pass- ed away July 21 in his 58th year. Mr. Cameron was born in In- dian River, P.E.1., having lived in British Columbia for 27 years and for the last 13 in Haney. Mr. Cameron, who was man- ager of the Maple Ridge Reality was an active member community and an ardent sports- man. He is survived by his wife, Viola Ann, son, Jack R. Came- ron, daughters. Mrs. Audremae Murray of West Vancouver, Mrs. Aileen Anne Ebner, Pitt Mea- dows and Maureen Therese, at home. Two brothers, A. J. Cameron, Indian River and C.F. Cameron, if Saint John, N.B., and two sis- ters, Mrs. L. G. Ramsay, Indian River and Mrs. Fred Callaghan, Framingham, Mass., also sur- vive. The funeral which was largely attended was held at St. Pat- rick’s Church in Haney. Pall- bearers included four former Is- landers, James Cooke, Sgt. Wil- liam Stavert, Sgt. John Henne- pn and readiness of the NATO fleet. His ship will participate with 19 warships representing six other North Atlantie Treaty .
