The marriage oi Mr. Art McDonald youngest son oi Mr. John MacDon- ald of French River to Miss Alice younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Graham oi this place took plane on Wednesday, November 5th in Charlottetown. On the same even- irig at the home of the bride's par- ents a reception was held accompan- ied by the usual charivari. The Young couple will reside on the groom's iarm on Green River Road and the best wishes of their many friends and relatives accompany them. The day proved to be very wet but the rain was needed and no doubt a bride understands the value oi ire- quent showers. Halloween night brought out the usual party of youngsters who delight in such a celebration. No great harm was done in our locality however as we pride ourselves on having a class that take up onlyinnoccnt sport. The canvassers for the new Prince Edward Island Hospital are 501118 on their rounds through our inldst and a. gratifying response is made. The amount is spread over two years for payment and we hope ere that time the pessimism that seems to prevail will have entirely disappear- ed. Mr. and Mrs. Cameron clow. Mrs. William Mackay and Mrs. Harry Reid of this place attended the in- duction servioe at Montague Presby- terian Church on Friday evening last. The Rev.
