Tribune Inc. has reached contract settlements with the last of its craft unions and plans to start publishing its - ‘evening newspaper next . Editor Frank Conniff said The Wolrd Journal Tribune will have a press run of about 900,- 000 copies at the start of the six-day-a-week paper The Journal - American and The World - Telegram and The Sun, evening newspapers, were merged into the new enterprise. The World Journal Tribune, which originally had scheduled publication to start April 25, reached settlements with the last of the nine craft unions Sat- urday — the 132nd day of the publication holdup. Agreements were reached one by one Saturday with six unions —drivers, mailers, electricians. machinists, paperhandlers and photoengravers. The printers, stereotypers and pressmen had | settled earlier. MUST BE RATIFIED The agreement with the ster- | eotypers is tentative and subject | to ratification at a membership meeting next Sunday.
