A student could work for the department of veteran’s affairs or they could do biology fieldwork for Agriculture Canada. There really is a lot of op- portunities.” Although there are plenty of government jobs available, some effort must be made in order to attain one of the coveted positions. Self promotion on the application is a great way to catch the employer's attention. “If students are interested than the sooner they apply the better. While if employers are interested, students will be contacted in April or May and an interview will be sched- uled.
