EDITORIAL Yesterday our beloved Student Council held their semi-annual General Meeting. Only 52 people made it. A quorum is l50. ' I say we came close. Let's face it. Students l are as interested in going to those meetings as Ireland is in the Queen. Now since nothing can ' ' ‘ ' , ‘ , be done at those meetings except for discussion ‘ INSTEAbogYOU ‘WELLmlOWNI . . - Milt; someone is being ripped off. faufl%$:jgfile WE mums“. ______ r I I .. The people who are losing out on general meetings are not the l ,432 students who failed to go a (I hear there is a lot of flu around) but t‘ne 52 who showed up. They don't have to’be there. In the Student Union constitution a quorum is defined as l0% of tlne student body. That is a very nice figure but I don't belive that l0% of the students have any desire in the world to go to a general meeting. 'Ihe trick in getting around this is in the definition of a quorum.
