Dixon, formerly well- | known in Charlotteiown, who conducted | amerchant tailoring business for sowe . years in thie city. The man standing next to him is Edward Lydiard who is a eon of the late E-iward Lydiard, for years con- nected with H. M. Customs in this city, and who was we!! known to a host of our older people. Ned, as he was called by the boys who used to know him, is bardly recoguizable owing to the beard he has grown. The two next figure: are sturdy enough for P. E. Ielavders though we are } notfeure that they bail from this provioce. On the end of the line is Ernest Joy, son of Mr. John P. Joy, of Charlottetown. These menare in partnershipin the hunt for gold in the cold and inhoepitable | Kleokyke. Their cabin, which is plainly shown in the picture, is not 4 very lux urious looking abode, but, compared with rome Gf the contrivances in which men live in that country it is quite a palace. Iis occupants certainly look as bappy aud robust as if they dwelt in marble ualls. Of the three we have mentioned Dixon was the fires to go out to the Klondvke.
