Two men from Glenwood ivers convicted of illegal consump- tion and were each fined ten dol- lars and costs. A case against a mun from Ulcer-y, charged with receiving stolen goods was uls- missod. A man frcm Kensington chargcdwith illegal consumption was fined ten dollars and costs. A man from Kensington charged with possession was released on bail of 400 dollars and his case set down for next week. A man from Grand River, charged with non support of his family was found guilty and sentenced to three months in jail. Three men charg- ed with receiving stolen goods were ordered to make restitution and were handed over to the military authorities to deal with as they had enlisted in the Army while their case was pending. Seven men were up before the Magistrate charged with various offences against the pleaded guilty and were fined from two to fifteen dollars according to the seriousness of their offence. - They paid the fines.
