JAMES KING On Friday morning August 30, 1957, relatives and citizens of Charlottetown and surrounding districts were shocked and griev- ed to hear of the sudden death of their dear friend, Mrs. James King in- her 52nd year. Mrs. King formerly Marion Somers, was born in Summerside, September 16th, 1905 only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Somers. She came to Charlottetown as a young girl and was employed as a member of the staff of the pro- -testant orphanage, Mt. Herbert, where she later married her hus- band James King of Charlotte- town. To this couple were born twelve children, all who are liv- ing except one baby Vincent who died in infancy.
