LEAGUE Give Each Man a Knife.- Some Interesting Corres- pondence. The members of the Soldier`s VVives' League, desirous of remembering Capt. Moore and the uien of the South African Constabulary from P. E. Island before their departure from Halifax presented each man with a nickel-plated pocket knife. Through the kindness of Mr. E. W. Taylor the knives were suitably en- graved with thc name of the recipient on one side and the initials “S. W. L." and “P.E. I." on the reverse. There knives were extremely useful and strong and it is thought that no more appropriate gift could have been presented tothem. The following letter of the Secretary to Capt.
