In order that there shall be a fair and equitable distribution to all householders, Order No. Coal 25 has been issued. This order covers thcdistri- bution to domestic consumers in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritime Provinces, and restricts use of coals of domestic quality by larger consumers. The most important clauses of this order are as follows: ‘ I. CLASSIFICATION of FUEL For the purpose of this Order fuel is classified as follows: CLASS “A" FUEL _ I. United States anthracite coal in the following sizes-grate (brokenl egg, stove, chestnut and pea; t . ' II. Welsh anthracite coal-cobbles, French nuts, stove nuts; III. Any sized coke (except Beehive Coke), the largest (top) size of which will not pass through an inch and one~eighth screen; _ _, IV. Low Volatile Coal-nut size and larger; Y. Until , llovcmber l, 1946, a coal dealer must not deliver to any consumer and a consumer must not accept delivery of, for use in any premises any more fuel of all kinds than the quantity which, when added to any fuel delivered since March 31, 1946, equals 80% of the normal annual requirements. Of this 80% there shall be no more Class ‘A fuel than the quantity which, when, added to any Class A fuel delivered since March 31, 1946, equals 60% of the normal annual requirements.
