The min- _ nies of previous sf ssion being then ; called for were read and adopted. After singing, Rev~ W. J. Howard was called upon. He r-ada most ex- cellent and wel prepared paper on ‘-The 'I`eac,hei`s Equipment.” The im- portant points made were (1) Patience possessed of the teacher to combat with the rough and uncouih nature of the untutored boy. (2) Spiritual interest in the scholars welfare. (3) Loyalty to the church in general. (4) Loyalty to one`s own church and denomination. (5) Exclusion of selfishness and the great necessity oi entire willingness to work. The iinancial committee then submit- ted its report which showed-there be- ing no balance over from last year-- reteipts of S5-i T4 and expen es of $160.91, including estimated eiipenses The Piccadily, The Squire.
