     The fourth annual Francis Bain Birdathon was held on Saturday, May 30, 1981. 
     
     In contrast to last year, all areas experienced cool, overcast weather during the 
     
    
   
   
    
     morning hours. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Many areas experienced light rain. 
     
    
   
   
    
     noon although, for most, the day's birding was over.
