Tostart your February Spring Break off with a bang, CIMN proudly presents another in our series of AMAZING concerts!! This one features Strawberry, Supercar, and the Thrush Hermits back on the Island for a return date. When, you ask? Saturday, February 18th at 7:30 p.m. at The Barn. The cost of joining in to the festivities is $5. If, however, you have become one of those gloriously audio-creative people we like to call ‘‘CIMN Volunteers’’, you can get in for $4. Come along and bring your friends. And your cousins. And their friends. And...you get the idea, I’m sure. UPDATE: CIMN has, for the past year, been involved in the process of applying for an FM broadcast license. Station Manager Rory O’Connor received notice this week that the CRTC (Canadian Radio and Telecommunica- tions Commission) has granted a hearing for the application. This hearing will take place in Halifax early in April. At this hearing, CIMN will explain why and how it can undertake to provide radio service to UPEI and the Charlottetown Area. This is a very important step in the process of getting the FM license. That’s about it for this week. Remem- ber to tune in Fridays at noon when Music Director Darren MacPherson brings you the CIMN Top Twenty. Leadership Awards 1.
