healthful atmosphere. ' Yesterday THE

DEAR Sin,-After spending a mint de-
lightful vacation in your country it is no
morevthan right, that I ' should sing _its e
praises to all the country around about,
therefore this article for your paper.
Having spent several weeks on P. E. I.
several years ago. I determined to make
another trip there. I interested threeof
my friends (namely) Albert J. Small,
Chas. F. Smith andGeo. A. Oak in the
trip. ' .
We sailed on July 14th, in La Grande
Duehesse and arrived on Monday
night, July 16th, after a most delightful
trip. We procured a team at the stable of
Mr. Robins and went out to the home of
Dr. James Henderson where we made our
home while on the 'Island and there every-
meals were all that could .be desired and
the home a Hue one to visit. One where
“Home is the Kingdom" and “Love the
King."
We took daily drives to all the points of.
interestand everywhere we have only
words of commendation to utter. The
stock farm with its herds of cows and-
young stock would well repay one' for a
longjourney. We next visited the Asylum
for the Insane which let me say has
undergone a great change siiioe my
visit of three years ago. On entering
the hall one' 'is struck with tho
air of neatness-and the uniformed
attendants, polite in the extreme, and at~
tentive show that'tlie"irIanagemeiit is all
that' could be' desired. The wards are
clean and the newly painted wallszlend an
air of beauty, to the once bare walls.
Here and there are pictures which will
attract the eye _of the inmate and make
it more like a home than an institution.
We visited your .parks and the several
beaches, but were most favorably taken
with the Cliff, J. J. Davies, proprietor.
Here the scenery was fine, and the house
tertained at luncheon by the following
well-known families. who did everything
to make ouristay pleasant and for which
we are truly grateful: ‘
