Previous- ly such replecements could be ob- tained at. any time. The delegates also passed resolu- tions authorlzin bonuses for clubs participating in. senior and jun- ioi- playdowns and grants for war purposes or war charities and pro- viding for intermediate playdowns in Eastern Canada. next season. The meeting also adopted reselli- tions limiting the total of life mem- bola to six, changing the by-laws to allow life members to act only as honors officers of the organiza- tion an declaring expenses of life members would be paid only to ari- nual meetings. The new wartime regulations provide that: 1. Players who belonged to o ciu-b in the previous season and are. lost to the club prior to Sept. 15 must be replaced before Nov. 1. 2. Players who belonged to a club in the previous season and are lost to the club between Sept. 15 and Nov. i milst be replaced with- in 10 days after the club plays its first league game in organized hoc- ey. ‘ 3. Players lost by the club after it enters competition must be re- placed within 10 days. The new regulations declare re- placements may be obtained from: Players who are engaged i:1 military service and are moved into the dis- trict; or players of the same 0r lower category from any other club in Canada or elsewhere psvided such club is willing to grant a r0- lease.
