The unexpected death of John J. Duffy, 68. occurred at his home on i-raivthorne Ave. Charlottetown, early yesterday morning. \ The late Mr. Duffy was born at Fort Augustus on November 28th. i878. He entered the service of the Charlottetown‘ Post Office on March l3. i913. During his long postal service. he was a com- petent and genial official and won for himself a host of friends. The late Mr. Duffy was a mem- lier of the Charlottetown Council of the Knights of Columbus and the Benevolent Irish society. Wltli the Knights of Columbus, he has held many offices, among which was that of Grand Knight. Mr. Duffy is survived by his widow.
