ELIZABETH CALLBECK The community of Tryon was deeply saddened on August 2nd when it became known oi the pass- ing away oi Mrs. Elizabeth Call- beck, (widow of the lsta Robert A. Callbeck) at the age of fifty-four are. Mrs. Callbeck‘ was formerly Miss Large of Albany. Mrs. Callback entered the Prince County Hospital for an operation Island Hospital in April for treat- ment. Hopes had been held for her recovery by those who loved her until about three weeks before her death, when it became apparent to all that medical cars or kind and loving nursing could not restore her health, and on the above men- tioned date she passed peacefully away to await the Glorious Ressur- rection oi the Just unto Life Eternal of which she so faithfully believed. The deceased will be very much missed in the community as she was ever ready to bel the sick and needy and very e ficent were her kind hands. There are left to cherish her memory. The following daughters and sons. (Annie) Mrs. G. V. Fer n of Hampton, Florence of Hal fax who was with her mother during her illness, Earl; of Chelton, Lesman and Wallace on the home- stead at Tryon. Her aged mother, Mrs. Alex M. Large and one sister Miss Annie Large both of ‘Pi-yon. Also seven grandsons and one grand daughter.
