Forty pupils answered the roll call which was a collection of quiz words prepared by Miss Helen Ahearn and Master Kenneth Millman. A small fine was paid by the pupil, who missed his or her word. The president presented a Red Cross pin also a health rule card to each Junior. This was followed by the pre- sentation of a basket of gifts to Master Charlie Maebeod who has since left for his new home in Saint John, NB. The many pretty gifts were presented by Masters Roger McCue and Allison Mac- Alduff. IN MEMORIAM STANISLAUS E. DOIRON The death of Mrs. Stanislaus E. Ddlron. at her home in Rustico, on August 20th. 1949. caused a wide- spread rellrct among her family and friends. She was in her 57th year. Three years ago ihe late Mrs. Dolron underwent two very serious operations. from which she never totally recovered. During her ill- ness she was always resigned to the Holy Will of God. and bore the burden of her sufferings with the utmost patience. Her funeral, which was largely attended, took place at; st. Augus- tine's Church. the Holy Mass being celebrated by the Pastor, Rev. Clar- ence J.
