EHE. An unsd'leduled evening of reunims occurred last Wednesday evening (Nov. 22) at '"Ihe Exchange". It was a pleasant renu'nder for a]; of us that the Decenber break can be omsidered just aromd the corner. 'Ihe entertainment for the evening was provided by Jim Stright, Len and Paul Allen, each of whan were performing for the first time at "The Exchange". M a sole perfomer, Jim was to display a very light and easy style. This was effectively OODVEYEd. throughout the evening, in the songs he selected. Neil Young's "After the Gold Rush", md Bob Dylan's "Knockinl on Heaven's Door", stood out in this regard. Jim also introduced a very fine song written by a friend, Dennis Brown, entitled "Over Water". From his own collection we also heard "0 My Son", a concluding song which clearly had special significance. During the evening, vocal harmony and excellent guitar style re the key features displayed, in their first performance together, an ability to bring these features across in the Songs they selected. "Coming Into Los Angeles", [bcky Ram", "find as a Brick", "59th Street Bridge Song", are just a few. Special menticn, in regard to vocals, should also be given to Len's Selecticn of James TaYlor's "Steamroller" and to Paul's versim of "Give a Little Bit."
