P.E.l. in 150 she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Tanton and would have celebrated her 95th birthday on Thursday of this week. Although in failing health for some time she had been active until a few weeks ago and was bed fast only a week. She resided in Sununerside for the past 70 years and was the oldest member of the Presbyterian Church in Summerside. Her hus- band prcdeceased her 45 years ago. She was of a friendly and gen- erous disposition and was held in highest esteem and had a great many friends who deeply regret her passing She was the last sur- viving member of her family her sister.
