principal residents inviting me to come forward as a -candi-
d_ate_for the representation of your ward in the City Council
Ihave decided, after due consideration, to accede to their

I have been a resident of the city all my life and in tho
whole of my business career have been associated with Ward
3, I am personally known to the majority of the electors
and am familiar with their wants and aspirations in the
matter of municipal progress and reform.
My experience as a member of the Fire Department for
the _East twenty years enables me to speak with authority
