The shore fleet have done nothing of importance fer the past week as tho weather has been thick and rainy. Potatoes —There is no sound Provincial stock here; all the Early Rose’s received are more or less rotten, and are sold at 20c to 60c per bushel according to their condition. The market is therefore, very un settied, and only cold weather will stop the rot and establish rates. Our domestic stock brings from 60c. to 65c. per bushel. Good, sound potatoes are wanted.
