McQuaid was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Wal- ter Stephen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Toole. The interior of the church was enriched for the oc- casion by a profusion of beautiful mid-summer flowers. Chrysanthe- mums, sweet peas and maiden hair fern banked on either side of the tabernacle, while placed above the altar were gladloll in ‘tall vases. The bride wore a gown of white sheer nylon over satin fashioned with a tight fitting bodice, full skirt and sweetheart neckline. Her beautiful veil billowed in soft folds to the skirt hem from a coronet of white roses. She wore a double strand of pearls with matching earrings and carried an arm bouquet of Talisman roses with white satin streamers. Her bridesmaid, Mlss Viola Toole, sister of the groom, chose an attractive gown of pink taf- feta. flowered headdress and matching three-quarter length veil. Her arm bouquet was of pink carnations. The groom was supported by Mr. Alfred McGaughey, cousin of the bride. Miss Mary Ellen Mc- llllroy was organist, while Mrs. Amos Callaghan beautifully rend- ered several appropriate hymns.
