B. McDonald, left the shop in a cart, in company with a countryman, to transact some business at the market. Having arrived there, he jumped out of the cart, but, in slighting, his leg doubled under him, causing him to fall to the ground with a cry of pain. Two men, who were passing at the time, went to his as- sistance, and he was put back in the cart, and driven home. Upon arriving at his home, Drs. Conroy and Warburton were sent for. On their arrival, they examined the injured limb, and fonand it to be brok- en just above the ankle. J., April 29, The celebration in commemoration of the inauguration of the first Presidert of the United States, may be said to have commenced here this morning with the arrival of President Harrison. The people of the city were astir early, and long before the Presidential train arrived crowds gathered at the Union depot and along the streets leading to Gov. Green’s residence, where President Harrison was to take breakfast. The buildings were gaily decked with flags and bunting. The line of march followed as near as possible the historic route taken by Washington one hundred years ago. The parade and procession was the most imposing ever witnessed here. New York, April 29.
