     1N pursuance 01‘ an Act of the General Assembly of this 
     
     Island made and passed in the Eleventh year ol the 
     
     reign of Her Majesty. Queen \'icto.‘ia, iiititoled “ An Act 
     
     for levying further an Assessment in all Lands in this 
     
     Colony, and lor the encouragement of Education," and also 
     
     an Act in amendment of the said Act. intituled “An Act 
     
     to explain and amend the present Act for the Assessment 
     
     of Land, and the encouragement of Education ;” and also 
     
     of an Act made and passed in the twenty-fourth year of the 
     
     said reign, intituled, " An Act to raise funds for the pur- 
     
     poses 01 Education by imposing an additional Assessment 
     
     on Land in this Island. and on real Estate in Charlotte- 
     
     town and Common and, Georgetown and Common,” I do 
     
     hereby give public notice that 1 have made proclamation 
     
     according to the terms of the sa'id Acts, of all the under- 
     
     mentioned Town Lots, Water Lots, Common Lots, Pasture 
     
     Lots, Islands, Townships, or parts of Townships, in this 
     
     Island, in arrear tor the non-payment of the several sums 
     
     due and owing,r thereon to Iler Majesty, under and by vir-
