The late Mrs. Clark was born at New Glas- gow, P. E. I.. on Aug. 6th, 1876. ”1-lettie”, as she was known to her friends, was a skilled dressinaker, having taken up the work in early girlhood, and practiced it both at home and in Boston. She was married in 1905, and came to Cavendish in 1908 where she lived the remainder of her life. She endured an illness of two and a half years with patience and forbearance. and one of her greatest. joys was the visits of her friends and relatives. She knew that she was ”zoing home" and was resigned to go all the Master's bidding. , She leaves to mourn the loss oil a kind and loving wife and moth- er, her husband and family of four, Gertrude, Mrs. Donald La- mont. French River; George at home; Marjorie, Mrs. Cyril Smith, Hunter River; Elmer in Saint John. N. B.: also a sister, Mrs. Eva Stevenson. Westminster, Mass., fifteen grandchildren and six great grandsons. The funeral was held from Cavendish United Church on April 8th and was very largely attended. Her pastor. Rev. George Gough, conducted the services, assisted by Rev. Howard Christie. Hunter Riv- er. and Rev. Mr. Green of Stan- ley Bridge. Hymns were favorites of the late Mrs. Clark.
