', The late Mr. Matlheson spent some years in the United States ‘and when that country entered v. the 1914-13 war, he enlisted in ’ the army and went overseas and served in France. On his return he came to his home in Heather- dale, P. E. 1., and engaged in the blacksmith trade. He is survived by his wife, the former Doris Martin of Grand- ~view, P. E. I., and one brother, -_'g Hugh, of Hamilton, Ontario. > Because of his lovely Christian character, his friendly nature, his goodwill towards" everyone, his devotion to his work, his en- "tertaining ability and his inter- est in and support of every good cause, the late Mr. Matlheson was most highly esteemed by all who knew him. A 23-year-old Fort Augustus man will spend the next seven days in the Queens County jail. He pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated.
