James E. MzicKinnon was the son of the late Driiilcl Macxlnnon lend Annie Lamont of Clermont. .lll(l was 57 years of age. He served Iln World War I in the tlth C.M. his and Reserve Army in world Wiir II. In 1919 he joined the service of the C.N.R. at Kenslngton where he continued to work until ill- health forced him to retire in I947. Alicr his retirement his health improved and he was able to look nfier his home until the day of his death when he was stricken Will) a heart attack. He was rush- rtl to the Prince County Hospital but was found to be beyond med- ical aid. Mournlng his death. which came with such shocking suddenness. are his sorowing widow. the former l.l;it.tie Mountain of Kensington. and three brothers and four sis- less. MacKlnnon. aged 07. passed away at her son's home during the early hours of Saturday morning. January 19th. Mrs. Macxinnon had been in ill health for some time and de- spite all the care and medical help that. she received. God decided that her mission in this world was accomplished and called her to His everlasting home. Mrs. MacKinnon was a devout Catho- lie. a member of the Catholic Women's League for many years, and was always willing to help with matters concerning the church. She will be greatly-missed.-not only by her husband and family. but. by her host. of friends. for her friendly smile was always a ray of hope for all who knew her. The main topic on the agenda concerned the printing of a hand book for every student containing the constitutions of all the or- ganizations on the campus. Each organization was asked to have its constitution ready for the press, The same committee which had been appointed to enquire into the costs of such a project. was given the responsibility of having the hand books printed. When this is done each student will receive one. and at the be- ginning of every year any new students will receive theirs.
