Long and ; # companion were wa'king over Kensington Range, they came across a hole in the ) ground, near a small wcove of trees on the lower end of the Range near the butts Mr. Long’s attention was attracted by some bones that were sticking up inthe bottom of the hole. For curiosity he examined them closely, and then diecovered that they were human bones. He pulled two of them out of the hole and brought them back to town with him. The hole in which the bones were buried had not been lately disturbed, so far ag Mr. Long could observe, and in his opinion the remaining bones of the are there buried deeper down. The bon:s were shown to Dr. Kelly to-day, who declared them to have belonged to the skeleton of a young ehild of 3 or 4 years of age.
