Dominion Live Stock Report MQNTREAL. Que, June 22. — There were 88 cattle, 172 sheep, and livmbs. 617 hogs and 547 calves for sale on the two markets this morning. There was very little demand for common grass cattle and the bulk 0f the offering was made up of this kind of cows. Trading was slow. Common cows were quoted from $3.50 to $4.75. Calves were easier. One choice lot were picked out at $9.00. They average 150 pounds and three or four straight lots of medium qual- ity veals were sold for $8.00. Com- mon suckers and heavy pail fed calves were sold from $6.60 to a shade better. Grass calves were quoted at $5.00 to $6.00. A few spring lambs were sold for 17 cents per pound and sheep were unchanged from yesterday. Hogs were lower. Very few sales were made today above $15.25 and sev- eral pair quality lots were sold for $16.00.
