     species. The Pig 'N 
     
     Whistle have been tra- 
     
     ditionally the major 
     
     source of reVEnue for the 
     
     Student Union. They not 
     
     only provide students 
     
     with an opportunity 
     
    

    
     to converse with students 
     
     in the privacy of their 
     
     own building, but they 
     
     also provide work for 
     
     CP's, bartenders and 
     
     waitresses. It is un- 
     
     fortunate that the 
     
    

    
     Pigs may have to be can— 
     
     celled, but the Student 
     
     Uhion cannot afford to 
     
    
   
   
    
       
     
    
   
   
    
     loose any more money this 
     
     semester. The last num- 
     
     ber of Pigs have been ' 
     
     Very poorly attended and 
     
     as a result the Union ' 
     
     finds that they have been 
     
     paying out more than they 
     
     have been taking in. 
     
     Scneiidng had to be done 
     
     and what was decided was 
     
     to cancel this weeks Pig 
     
     (Karson) and have one more 
     
     trial run the last week of 
     
    
   
   
    
     classes before March break. 
     
    
   
   
    
     The date is February 28th 
     
    
   
   
    
     and the band is,the notorious 
     
    
   
   
    
     Guinness. Guinness is an 
     
     Irish band who have never 
     
     failed to bring the house 
     
     down at UPEI.
