June 20 —(CP)-— Receipts: Cattle 946: calves 1.742; hogs 1.536: sheep and lambs 734. Cattle prices were fully steady. The bulk of the good steers sold around $7.50 with odd sales at $7.85 and an extreme top of $8. Medium quality steers sold up to $6.75 with common steers mostly around $5.25 to $5.50. Heifers ranged from $3.75 to $6.50 with odd tops at $6.75. Good cows were $5 to $5.00, mostly $5.50 with an odd top at $5.75. Medium quallty butchers sold from $3.75 to $4.75 and common from $3 to $3.50 Canners and cutters were from $2 to $2.75. Bulls ranged from $3.- 50 to $5.50. The calf market was steady to 25 cents lower. Medium good to good veals were from $7 to $7.50, tops $8. Medium were from t6 to $6.50 and common from $5.25 to $5.75. Common drinkers sold a- round $5 and grassers mostly $4. Lambs were easier. Good quality lambs averasllnil 55 pounds or more brought $10. Bulk of the lambs were weighed in mixed lots at $9 t0 $9.50 per hundredweight. Sheep were from $3 to $4 with an Odd yearling up to $5. Bulk of the sheep were sold betwee. s3 and $3 50. Hogs were stronger. There was o good percentage oi lights and feeder hogs and these were weigh- ed early at $12 to $15.50 per hund- redweight according to wellzht, Bows were from s7 to $8.50.
