Hy- mns sung by,t-he choir were ‘The Lord’s my Shepherd’ ‘The Haven of Rest’ and ‘What a Friend we have in Jesus’. The masonic burial service was conducted by the brethem of St. Georges Lodge, who fibtingly in- terred their late brother with full Masonic Honors. The Pallberarers brother Masons were: Stanley Llewellyn, Howard Reid, Cam- eron Clow. Hazel: MacLure, Percy McPherson and Garnet Reid. IN MEMORIAM MRS. PETER A. GALLANT The community was saddened that Mrs Peter A. Gallant, nee Eugenie Blanch-avrd had passed away at her home in Oyster Bed, at the age of 83. She had been ill for five weeks. Aunt Jaimie, as she was fondly called by many. led a very ac- tive life until a couple of years ago A fervent Cath-oliic, she was always ready to lend a hand when called upon in time of death, birth, or sickness. She spent most of her life as practi- cal nurse. During her illness, she was vis- ited many times by her devoted pastor, Rev Joseph Leclair, who administered the last rites of Holy Mother Cl'll1DC'h. ’ Her husband predeceased her in 1937, a son, Mathias, met ac- cident-al death in 1936 while work- ing in U. S.
