After the ordination on Sunday the relatives and friends of Father MaoAulay were served a tasty meal in St. Mary's Con-vent Hall. A genenal meeting was held in the Town Hall on Monday, May 28th. to organ"-lze for the annual regatta which was such I great success last year. Mr. Ernest Dugas has been making great changes in the ap- pearance of the house which he purchased on Prince Street. Work has commenced on the St. Charles Road, which will be 66 feet wide and will extend from movement for the people in that vicinity. "Clean Up Week" got away to a good start on Monday night when thirty-five men turned out to sweep the main street. The job started at 6 pm. and at 8 p.m. the last truck was loaded. The Board of Trade are to be compli- mented on their effort and the thanks of the Town Council go to the men for their services. The trucks were supplied by J. J. Hughes Co., Matthew & MaoLean Co., Waldron Dingwclil and C..E. Lavie.
