City Council of the City of Charlottetown, as follows :- 1. From and after the First day of July ncxt, A. D_. 1892, no person shall have in his possession, custody or power, in said City, any billiard, pool or agabelle table, or any bowling alley set up for hire or gain. directly or indirectly, without hav- ing first obtained thoglicense therefor sev- erally required by this By-Law. 2. No billiard, pool or bagatelle table‘ or bolling alley shall be licensed or kept or used in any tavern, inn, house of en- tertainment, saloon or place where intox- icating liquors are sold, or in or upon any premises connected therewith. 3. All applications for a license to keep either a billiard, pool or be telle table, or to keep a bowling alley, 3 all be made in writing to the City Council of said City, A copy of which petition nhnllbe filed in the otiice’ of the City Clerk at least one month previous to the meeting of the Council at which such petition in to be presented. 4. It shall be the right and privilege of any ten or more civic eletmoriihaving votes in the civic ward in which the petitioner for such license seeks to set up such bil- liard, pool or bagatelle table or such bowl- ing alloy, to object by petition or in any similar manner to the granting of any such licpnse within such Ward, such objections to be filed with the said City Clerk at less four days previous to the first meeting of the Council to consider such application 5. The objections which may be taken to the granting of an such license may be one or more of the f0‘ lowing ;—.- character. (1.
