Diep Last Nieut.—Mr. John McKenna died at his residence, Bishop Street, last evening after a lingering illness. He was employed as an appren-. tice in the composing room of Tne Examiner for about three years, or until ill-health compelled him to give ap work. He was honest and faithful in the dis- ' charge of his duties, and his early death is deeply regretted by his as- sociates and all others by whom he was known.
