The Sicilian police have discovered a/ remarkable murder club near Palermo, | consisting of fifty-nine members, who were | pledged to murder for common advantage and profit. The members undertook to execute private vengeance for hire. A branch club was established in Sicarlzzi, consisting of forty five members. Within a few months, the latter club alone, killed thirty persons. The members of both clubs have been imprisoned at Palermo, and will be tried immediately. Appeal bemanded, Lonvon, April 25. The Marquis of Salisbury and Sir Stafford Northcote, Conservative leaders, replying to resvlutions forwarded by tiie Edinburgh Conservatives, set forth, in strong terms, that the importance of appealing to the country was becoming urgent.
