We'll begin next Wednesday, the 24th. : Tutorials are limited to 5 peo- ple per group. $10 per hour.and a half sessions. To preregistar call student services 24th. Sleigh Ride The English Society of UPEI will be having a jolly, jovial, joc- ular,and possibly even fun outing at the farm of Noel Potts in Bon- shaw on the eve of Friday Jan. 26 at 8:00 pm. Any one wishing to come along may call Rob Coffin 2-9674 or Scott Poud 2—4882 for further cetails or simply meet at the barn at 7 on the above stated evening. A party will follow the sleigh ride. Modern Language News On the day of registration, January 2nd, the Modern Lan- guage Club held its draw for $1000.00 cash prize and other prizes. the grand prize winner of $1000 went to Linda O’Connor, and the 2nd prize, a weekend for two courtesy of the CP Prince Edward Hotel, went to Jimmy Chaisson. there were also ten 3rd prizes of $10.00 each. These winners were: Richard O’Keefe, Ian Campbell, Lena Lund, Barb Mullaly, Glen 566-0423 before the Lorna Creamer, MacKinnon, H. Baglole, Deina’ Perry, Rosena Magennis, and Ada Peters. The Modern Language Club would like to congratulate all winners and would also like to thank all of you for your support in our fund raising efforts for our trip to Nice. Grad pictures must be paid for by Feb. 15/90 if you wish to have it in the yearbook. Ring Day will be held again on Jan 25/90 if you happened to miss the date back in September. Rings will be available to try on in the Bookstore from 10 am - 4 pm. $20.00 deposit required. Seniors must apply for their degree by March 15/90. Forms are available at the Registrar’s The Gem Office. A fee of $45 is charged for Bachelor Degree recipients and $10 for Engineering Certificate and Diploma. Please, don’t for- get to do this! Fees must be paid by April 15/90. Plans for Senior Week are un- derway. If anyone has ideas for fun events in the afternoons, please feel free to talk to one of the executive or leave a message for me either at home (894-5495) or the SU office (566-0530). We’ve got 2 big pubs to look forward to this semester so study hard but leave some time to sup- port your class on March 15 and April 12. Also keep the Senior Class and Friends trip to Jamacia in mind. Sounds like a great week of sun and fun before Senior Week.
