Salmoml of Banshaw and John Carmen. only son of Mr. and Mrs. Davis Mit- chell, Hampshire, were united in marriage. The Rev. I. J. Morrison officiating, Miss Eleanor Carson played the wedding music, The house was beautifully decorated with streamers, bells and autumn flowers. The youthful bride entered tho living room on the arm of her father. The ceremony took place under a picturesque arch of pink and white. the bride wearing a gown of white over satin with sweetheart neckline and pointed sleeves. Her fingertip veil being caught in sweetheart fashion with seed pearls. She carried an arm bouquet of white gladioll. Her only ornament was g single strand o! pearls, lllg gift of the groom. The bride's only sister, Marilyn. as attendant wore a gown of pale blue with shoulder length veil caught by g wreath of rose buds. She carried an arm bouquet of pink gladlalt. Mr. Nelson l-Intherley nup- ported the groom. The gift [D the bridesmaid was a gold compact, to the best nlran a leather wullc’. and to the pianist an oval compact. For the wedding the bride's mother chose a queen's blue dress with black accessories and a cor- sage of deep rose while the groom's mother choose g two piece navy blue with black accessories and a. cerlse corsage. During the signing of the rnglb ter Mlss Carson played effectively "0 Perfect Love." A delicious buffet lunch was served to a large number of guests. The wedding table being centered with a three tier wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom, on either side of which were tall white tapers. Friends of the bride assisted ln serving while those pouring were Mrs. Elector MacNevln and Mrs. Dobson Clark aunt of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell left by Nova Scotla and New Brunswick. For travelling the bride wore s flowered silk dress with moss green coat. chocolate ecccesorles and a corsage of sweet pens.
