The last of the preliminary races in the international sculling sweepstakes were rowed to-day. There were two heats, be- tween Beach, of Australia, and Bubear, of Nngland, and the other between Teemer and Matterson. Beach and Teemer were winners. The weather was fine but the water somewhat lumpy. Beach led Bu- bear throughout the heat, and won as he clear six lengths.
