De. St. C. Brecken, Theo. Moore, 8. C. Nash, James Reddin and John Carroll. The Caledonian C!ub, of which the deceased had been a prominent member for years, atierded in a body. The interment was iv the Roman Catholic Cemetery. The services at the church and at ihe grave were taken by Rev. Dr. Morrisen. Suppex Deatu.—Mrs. McLean. widow cf Captain Jobn Mcl.-ar, “eperted th’s life yesterday moroiog. Mrs. McLean was in ser usual health on Saturday, and retired at night apparently allrig!i. About one o’clock on Sunday morning she complain- ed of being iJl, and a doctor was summoned and hersister was sent for. These were quickly on the scene and everything por- sible was done for Mrs. Mciuean. But the svadow of death was upoo her, and in les than an hour from the ‘rst intimat 0: of her i}lness her eprrit passed away. Heart failure was the cau-e of death. Mre, Mc~ Lean was well and favorably known, snd her death will be tiscerely mourned. Sie has adaughter in Bo-ton and a son in Cel.fornia. Mre. Wiliam Chandler and Mrs. Geo. Stanley are sisters of the deceased.
