The funeral, which was held on May 5 from Rose Valley United Church, of which he was a faithful member and supporter for many years. was conducted by his pastor the Rev. W. B. MacPhail assisted by the Rev. Donald Nicholson of Clyde River who brought comfort- ing messages to the bereaved fam- ily. Dr. M. C. MacDonald assisted at the private service at the home and also at the grave. The hymns sung were: "The Lord's My Shep- herd" and "All The Way My Sav- ior Leads Me." favorites of the deceased. and the choir rendered "Forever With The Lord." The funeral was under the dir- ection of Joseph Davison. Kensing- ton. The pail bearers were close friends and nelghbo . of the de- ceased. namely Messrs. Dan Buchanan. D. A. Matliesou. Angus M. MacDonald, William Mathesou and Frank Newsome. The large number of friends and relatives who came bore silent testimony of the esteem in which the deceased was held. All that re- mained of a kind and loving hus- band. I devoted father and brother and a true friend was laid to rest in Springton cemete y.
