The Beginner and Primary‘ Depis, entertained their parents and friends on Monday afternoon, with a varied program o! recitatlons, songs and excerclses, directed by Miss. Margaret Ballern. Supt. of the Depts. assisted by Miss. Margaret MacEwen and Mrs. Frank Johnston, Jr. with Mrs. J. D. Davison as accompanist. A feature ot the entertainment was the reciting oi "Twas the Night Before Christmas" with amazing accuracy and expression by three year old Linda Ward. At the close of the entertainment and to the tune o_i' Jingle Bells. the one and only Santa. Claus (A. T.) appeared and distributed candy and fruit. to the boys and girls and also presented gifts to the scholars on behalf of the various teachers. Mrs. W. J.
