On Monday evening, January 19th. between forty and fifty re- fatives and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. William Brander, Baltic gathered at their home for a s0o- cial evening. A sing song of many old favorites was much enjoyed. An unfortunate accident oc- eurred at Sea View on Tuesday when Mr. Keir McKay was saw- ing fuel wood his left hand came in contact with the saw and as a result lost one of his fingers and a large portion of a second finger was severed. He was immediately rushed to the Prince County Hospital where he had recovery. Miss Lois Murphy nurse-in- training spent the weekend at her home in Sea View.
