FORMER PASTOR HE'RE.- The Maritime Baptist has the following reference to a former Cliariottetown pastor of the Baptist Church which will he- read with interest by many friends here:-Rev., Johnson L. Miner, pastor of the Roxborough Baptist Church, Philidelphla, is meet- ing with marked success in leading the activi-ties of that strong church. During the year just closed thirty-five members were received by baptism. The missionary apportionments of tho church were exceeded by nearly fifty per cent. The Sunday School has an enrollment of over six hundred. Dr. Miner is well known in these pro- vinces, having served as assistant pastor at Amherst alter his gradua- tion at Acadia, and later as pastor of the Charlottetown Church.
