Police said Mrs Baker was taking care of the baby for Mr and . Tanguay when the ab tack occurred. She had just given the child a bottle of milk and had left the apartment to return upstairs when she heard Manon crying. Leon Grenon of Sillery police said many families in the neighborhood had protested the presence of the lion out of fear for their childrens safety.
