(CF)-There's a 23- acre trout pond in Prince Edward Island from which anglers have been taking two iish per rod-hour tor the last 11 years. The story of this happy hunt- ing ground for anglers is related in the most recent issue oi Trade News, published by the federal ilsherles department. The pond is on the North Montague river. It is fed by a stream draining an area of about 25 square miles. The stream is spring-led-this is characteristic ior P. E. I.-which makes it high- ly productive of trout food. A resident at the pond-the pub- lication does not give his name- has kept a nraei-census. of the ..'At Montague a total of 147 students from Montague and other schools in the district began writ ing the provincial examinations which will continue today and the first three days of next week. The examinations are being held in the new school. Included are 122 grade ten students and 25 grade eleven students.
